Here's a story of a couple of board game enthusiasts on a mission to spend quality time playing more games together as a family.

We discovered our shared love of board games when we first started dating 20 years ago and haven't stopped playing together. In a world where people are becoming increasingly disconnected we find that board games help bring us together and provide a fun shared experience. We've made a goal of playing more games with our kids to break away from screens and pass along our love of gameplay.

  • Ryan and I SURVIVED our first flight together. I introduced my little brother to Sky Team by @scorpionmasque . In explaining this game to other people, you basically talk about all the ways that you will die if you don’t do everything correctly. We were able to land the plane in the Montreal airport with no problems and I think I’m ready to start doing more difficult airports.   • Just played the new Grinch Flip-7 game as a family and it’s safe to say this will be one of our most-played quick card games by the end of the holiday season. Our whole family was able to play (even our 5 year old could hold her own with this one). Once the kids got over the hurt of busting the first time or two, everyone became obsessed with this game.   • We recently had the chance to play Sequoia for the first time and really enjoyed this quick card and dice game. 🌲How to Play: Stack your dice, claim your forests, and grow the tallest trees on the table. Each player rolls five dice, pairs them to match numbered forest cards, and competes to have the highest total in each grove. Win a forest, plant a mighty sequoia. Win the most grove to rule the woods. Just played the new Grinch Flip-7 game as a family and it’s safe to say this will be one of our most-played quick card games by the end of the holiday season. Our whole family was able to play (even our 5 year old could hold her own with this one). Once the kids got over the hurt of busting the first time or two, everyone became obsessed with this game.
