ABOUT US

Here's a story of a couple of board game enthusiasts on a mission to spend quality time playing more games together as a family.

We discovered our shared love of board games when we first started dating 20 years ago and haven't stopped playing together. In a world where people are becoming increasingly disconnected we find that board games help bring us together and provide a fun shared experience. We've made a goal of playing more games with our kids to break away from screens and pass along our love of gameplay.

The birthday girl chose Diced Veggies (which we have had our eyes on for awhile) and it did not disappoint! Diced Veggies is a unique, family-friendly game of chopping and cooking! Players take turns as the chef, slicing veggie dice into groups, while drafting those groups to complete recipe cards for points. This game is such an interesting mix of strategy, timing, and spatial thinking. We haven’t played anything like it before and really enjoyed this one.   • Level 10 is a co‑operative, solo‑playable card‑puzzle game with a colorful, retro video‑game vibe. Players work together to help “Izzy” conquer 10 levels across 5 distinct worlds. The game is played on a 5×10 grid: each row represents a world, each column a stage. To win you must play all 40 Level Cards and 10 Reset Cards onto the grid, completing every level in each world. If a player can’t play on their turn, the team loses—and Izzy fails the adventure. This game was more challenging than we were expecting, but we had a blast trying to figure out how to complete the adventure.   • We introduced some family visiting from out of town to Sagrada. We love this game and it was interesting to see them take it in for the first time. It took a little time for them to understand the dice placement rules and we honestly weren’t sure how much they enjoyed it when we wrapped up for the night, but…the next morning they mentioned how much they liked the game and that they were still thinking about it. We introduced some family visiting from out of town to Sagrada. We love this game and it was interesting to see them take it in for the first time.
